St. Cecilia Parent Teacher Organization  "S.C.P.T.O."

Welcome to Saint Cecilia Parent Teacher Organization! As the name suggests, we need the help and cooperation of all the parents and teachers to make this school year a success!  We have chosen a Catholic education for our children.  Unfortunately, that means we cannot rely on any funds from our tax dollars to supply some of the most basic needs, much less the needs specific to a Catholic Education.
SCPTO provides basic funding for general needs:Start up supplies for teachers- to update their individual classroom instructional equipment and general needs such as folders, marker, staplers, flashcards…you know how these essentials can add up!
  • General instructional tools-media equipment, flashdrives, etc.
  • Flu shots to keep our staff healthy.
  • Student information on how to keep healthy.
  • First aid supplies for the teachers to have handy.
  • CPR training for the teachers.
  • Funds for the teachers continuing education conferences.
  • General supplies that used to be on the student supply lists-copy paper, wipes, tissues, paper towels, hand cleaner
SCPTO provides funding specific to our Catholic education:
  • Tuition Assistance-to help defray salary and benefit expenses.
  • First Communion and Jesus Day banner supplies.
  • 8th Grade Retreat to Youth 2000.
  • Catholic Schools Week/Student Appreciation-tokens and gifts for the students in celebration of their Catholic identities.
SCPTO organizes fund raisers through its dedicated members and volunteers to help financially through the year.  We need your help! Please, prayerfully consider volunteering your time and talent at one or more of the following “Fun Raising” events.
  • Chairpersons for Golf Outing, Family Night, Spring Spectacular, or the Walkathon.
  • Volunteers who are willing to help the Chairs.
  • Businesses willing to make a charitable donation that could be used at any of these Fun Raisers
  • Donations of items/services for door prizes or silent auctions
It may not always be possible to share your time or talent, but you can still help!  Market Day offers many delicious food items as a one-stop food shop.  You just complete and return the order form to school or order online.  The school receives part of the profit! Another way to help out is by sending in your PTO dues, becoming a member, and attending the meetings.  We value your participation, opinions and ideas!   Join us and make a difference here at Saint Cecilia!
