Penny War Results -- WOW!

The Penny War during Catholic Schools Week raised over $1,000 for Books of Hope!  The First Grade classes led this service program and through the participation of so many students bringing in thousands of pennies and silver change, we were able to raise so much for this program!

Books of Hope is a unique service program that invites students of all ages to create books for children around the world who are facing extreme physical and emotional hardships.  The books are delivered to children living in countries where English is the primary language of education and commerce. Thus, learning to read English is an essential part of their  education, and education is their best hope for a better future.
