Family Partnership Program Policy 
The vitality and effectiveness of St. Cecilia School depends upon the commitment of parents, students, and their family as a whole.  In order to promote involvement, parents and students are required to be involved in the life of the school and parish.  St. Cecilia School’s emphasis on our mission – We Love and Serve God Through Excellence in Catholic Education – is not only for our students, but also for parents as well. A minimum of twenty (20) service hours per family is required per school year.  Any St. Cecilia Roman Catholic School or Parish activity that assists our community is acceptable (10 hours max for Parish activity).  A few examples are:  working a fund-raiser for the SCPTO, assisting with our Parish festival, coaching or working with our Sports Committee, landscaping, or assisting in the classroom.  One exception is cafeteria duty.  The nine times you are scheduled for cafeteria duty will reduce your yearly cafeteria fee.  This is a separate program and is not eligible toward the Family Partnership Program. Also separated from the program are the mandatory service hours for the 8th grade class, as well as any service learning activities. Each family is required to keep a record of their service hours.  The record should include the date, number of hours, type of service and a signature from the Chairperson/Supervisor of the activity.  As soon as the twenty hours have been accumulated, the log is to be submitted to the school office.  Service logs are due by April 30th, 2010.  Failure to participate will result in a fee of $5.00 per service hour, not to exceed $100.00 that will be billed in May.

     * Must have a minimum of 20 volunteer hours.  ( A maximum of 10 hrs can be credited by    participating in Parish fundraisers such as the Labor Day Festival, etc.)* Cafeteria volunteer hours DO NOT COUNT for Family Partnership hours.* Please submit this form no later than April 30th or as soon as you have reached the 20 hrs.* Failure to participate will result in a fee of $5.00 per service hour, not to exceed $100.00      that will be billed in May.
